Avoriaz is normally scheduled to open 16th December so it is time to book your ski holiday accommodation or even beat the crowds and book a few days of pre-season skiing or snowboarding if we have an early snow fall.

As soon as there is a snow alert for Portes du Soleil it is likely to get busy on the slopes so this could be a good year to have a guide and explore a little more of the Back country.  Adam and Helen had an amazing week on Mint Snowboarding’s back country course last season so can recommend booking with Mint Snowboarding.

Early snow for Portes du Soleil and Avoriaz and Ardent easily accessible, from our chalet, means you’re guaranteed a white Christmas and a memorable family holiday.Snow alert Portes du soleil deep snow avoriaz
